When considering a job for our new, emerging green economy, many people turn to Everblue for the respected and comprehensive training that they offer. Everblue BPI training will help prepare you to work as a building analyst. You will be qualified to complete home energy audits that will allow the homeowner to become more energy efficient in their home and have the advantage of saving money on utilities while achieving this.
It’s easy to enroll in Everblue BPI training. There are no prerequisites for training, though an understanding of building construction and industrial trades will assist you in recommending building remodels or upgrades to increase energy efficiency. When enrolling in Everblue BPI training there is a week long classroom instruction to make the student familiar with the audit procedures and home energy efficiency. After classes are completed, the student must pass a two hour long, 100 question BPI examination. The examination must be passed with at least a 70 percent to move on to the final stage of the certification process. The final stage of the Everblue BPI training certification is passing a two hour long field examination. The field exam gives the student the change to demonstrate their competency in the energy audit process and the tools and equipment used during this procedure. Once this is successfully completed, the BPI training center will issue accreditation recognizing you as a nationally recognized energy auditor.
The knowledge you receive in these classes will allow you to provide the homeowner with a through overview of their household energy usage and consumption. You will also be qualified to suggest options and possible solutions to homeowners to save money by conserving energy in their homes. It is important to remember that the building analyst is required to regain BPI training recertification every three years. This is easily done in one of two ways. The certificate holder can either retake the written and field examinations and receive a passing grade or complete approved Continuing Education Credits to be eligible for recertification.
With the recent focus on a green economy, you can’t go wrong getting Everblue BPI training. It will enable you to have job security in our new and emerging energy conscious world.
